Hands On A Shooter

The aptly titled A Shooter is just that; a shooter. The game comes from Sorcery Games and features 13 levels of old-school side-scrolling action. While not the most creative or unique concept, A Shooter still manages to be a competent game with its simplistic but charming graphical style and surprising longevity.

The… er… shooting in A Shooter is solid, although there is nothing here that hasn’t been seen before. Enemies fly in from the right, as the player shoots them. This doesn’t lessen the quality of the game by any significant degree, but if you haven’t enjoyed any shooters before, A Shooter won’t change your mind. In short, it lives up to its name.
